A basic email with the month's coming uploads as well as info and pics relating to local mineral specimens and mining areas.

You can search for specimens by area using the buttons in the frame below or you can use the search function. The dropdown menu of minerals will only give results of minerals that have been classified under that mineral type. For example: A specimen of Aquamarine and Tourmaline will be classified under aquamarine.

If you Search for Tourmaline in the dropdown menu the specimen in the example will not appear. Click on the search button (below right) to access the search function. If you type the mineral you are looking for into the search box you will get many more hits on almost any mineral search you do.

Built into the site is the ability to add specimens to your order form. You will see the "add" button below the specimen details. You can also add the specimen ID number in yourself (Eg: Ame001B)

Postage and Payment details will be arranged by E-mail. We accept credit card payments with our secure online credit card facility as well as payments made via PayPal.

All specimens are sent by Registered Airmail and delivery worldwide takes between 10 and 14 days.

The minumum postage cost is US$ 9 for one specimen, but 5 specimens combined can easily be as low as $10 to have all 5 delivered.

Reine is currently in Australia. Firstly to get married and secondly to meet some friends in the mineral trade.

Back in South Africa it is business as usual and we look forward to Reine and Michelle's return.

A few black tourmalines have been uploaded this week. Jet black color and great lustre.

This upload features a selection of Erongo fluorites. Mostly green in color some specimens feature a bit of purple coloration.

A few new smokey and enhydro quartz crystals have just been uploaded onto the site.

Brandberg quartz crystals still making their way onto the site. Today we uploaded amethyst crystals as well as a neat little lepidochrosite included crystal.

After an 8 month holiday across Africa and South America Reine has returned to the helm rested and ready. With a huge backlog of specimens to upload we look forward to getting to work.
