Flu011N - Fluorite with Feldspar
Miniature (3.6 x 1.9 x 1.4cm)
A very nicely composed oblong specimen consisting of four fluorite crystals on feldspar matrix. The crystals have a rich apple-green color, with purple corners and a matt luster on the faces, and contrast well against the cream-colored feldspar, which has minor black tourmaline (schorl) associated. This specimen displays well as shown in all these pictures. Chemical Composition: CaF2 Group: Halides Location:This specimen is from the Erongo Mountains, Erongo, Namibia.
